Four South Barber football players were honored this week by being named to the Wichita Eagle’s 8-Man All-State football team. The four seniors helped the Chieftains post an 8-3 record this season and a trip to the state playoffs for the 8th straight year.
Chad Forester was named to the Eagle’s 1st team offense as offensive end.
Receiving honorable mention honors were Quarterback Banon Cox, linebacker Chance Sterling and wide receiver Casey Garman.
Overall, teams on South Barber’s schedule this past season landed 22 players on the Eagle’s all-state list.
